Prime Minister and Finance Minister, Hon. Gaston Browne reaffirms his administration's commitment to the payment of outstanding back-pay to public servants. He provided the update during Questions to Prime Minister during Monday's meeting of Parliament's Lower House. The head of government earmarks January, 2025 as the potential date another tranche of payments.
Osbert Frederick is now the new Speaker of the House of Representatives. He was elected unopposed to succeed Sir Gerald Watt King's Counsel during Monday’s sitting. Frederick has moved from being vice president of the Senate, to Speaker in the House of representatives. Andrena Athill DaSouza reports.
